Aleks has been cast as Tyler Draven, A football superstar who had the world in his hands but over time and massive amounts of steriod use his temper and numerous arrests have lead him to be kick out of the league. After a fire and burned to near death, Draven's molecular structure of his D.N.A is manipulated with the combination of a plethera of designer steriods and sulfur from the fire has given him the ability to BE fire. Draven is now on a mission to get back at everyone he feels wronged him.

Aleks had a very challenging time with this role as he was put through 4 hours a day training sessions with trainer Brent Cote and strict diet 12 days before shooting. "this was the first time in my career that I went through so many changes visually as an actor, loved every second of it, the work the Brent put me though and keeping me on my diet was on of the main reasons I was prepared for this role. Brent got me in the headspace of a beast." Aleks also shaved his head for this role. "I never had my head shaved for a role, I mean Bic shaved. but a meeting with Kristofer Tabori, the director of the film, and talking how it was needed I decided that it was the best for the role. I'm looking forward to the experience and so far its been a blast." The film also stars Ian Somherhalder (Lost) and Lexa Doig (Andromeda). "We are working around 12 hour days if not more and when your working so much on a film you kinda pray your gonna be working with amazing people, well, I have to say i have never laughed so much on a movie, and we are only half way done! Lexa is one of the funniest, coolest, and stupidly attractive women i have ever met and Ian and I are constantally laughing and telling gross jokes, who can out gross and out laugh each other, so far he's winning in the make-the-other-person-laugh-while-drinking-and-it-coming-out-your- nose department. Its a blessing to be on this film."

Aleks character: Tony Links
A street thug with an intricate tattoo on his neck, Links works for Mikhail Arban. He is completely without morals and seems to enjoy inflicting pain and evil on others. There is something very difficult to read about him: like a wild animal that has no boundaries.

Personal Effects is based upon the short story "Mansion on the Hill," found in the collection "Demonology" by Rick Moody.
